Famous plastic surgeon Ivo Pitanguy passed away

On August 5, the famous Brazilian plastic surgeon Ivo Pitangui passed away on the ninth dozen. According to Newsday24 , the cause of death was a heart attack.

The famous surgeon, who is considered one of the founders of plastic surgery, was born in 1926 in Brazil. After graduating from medical university, he practiced for some time in the United States and England. Then he went back to Brazil and began working on research in the field of reconstructive aesthetic surgery for burn victims.

In the 60s , Pitangui became famous outside of his homeland thanks to celebrity plastic procedures. So, it is known that the clients of the master surgeon were Frank Sinatra and his wife, as well as Naomi Campbell, Sophia Loren, Jacqueline Kennedy and many others. The operations carried out by pitangi were of immense value, however, they justified themselves with their quality.
