With the help of a robot surgeon, the first plastic surgery was performed in Russia

In December 2016, a unique event for plastic surgery around the world took place - the first operation was performed using a specially designed robot called “Da Vinci” .

On the website Plastic-surgeon.ru it is reported that the robot is controlled by a surgeon, however, it is not necessary to be close to this miracle of technology: in the near future, such operations with the help of a robot will be performed in conditions where the doctor is at one end of the world, and the patient in another. Another colossal advantage of the robot surgeon is the ability to control the course of the operation with a high-definition camera: significant scaling of the operated area and elimination of the effect of tremor significantly improve the accuracy of the surgeon's movements, which is manifested through the most gentle treatment of the patient’s tissues. The robot has four arms, “arms”, with which it is possible to perform various tasks during the operation, and all the arms can act simultaneously.

The surgeon at this time is sitting at the surgical console - a special convenient remote control with which the operation is controlled. With such management, the surgeon almost never gets tired, so the negative impact of the human factor is also reduced to a minimum. All this gives the right to assert that robotic surgery will develop at a significant pace, and services of this kind can be used in the coming years.
