A year later, in the hospitals of Russia may appear full-time doctors specializing in plastic surgery. Such information appeared at the presentation of the new social project “Social Navigator”.

The author of the news was N.I. Pirogov, chief freelance specialist of the Ministry of Health for plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Soon, anyone who needs reconstructive plastic surgery will be able to use the service of a full-time plastic surgeon at no extra cost. In order to get an appointment with a doctor, it is enough for a patient to bring a policy of compulsory medical insurance.

In her speech, the doctor noted that people turn to the services of plastic surgeons not only to improve their appearance, but also to improve their health. Reconstructive plastic surgery is simply necessary for people who have serious aesthetic defects or have suffered from injuries, burns, frostbite. Surgery transferred by patients can also spoil the aesthetic appearance of a person, bringing him psychological and physical discomfort.

In addition to introducing a plastic surgeon's position in the OMS system, it is planned to create a rating of plastic surgery centers. Information will be provided to citizens as part of a special project. It is planned to include in the list at least half a million medical organizations of aesthetic surgery located in the territory of the Russian Federation. This will simplify the procedure for the choice of citizens of the clinic and specific specialists, since it is no secret that the existing ratings are often biased.
